PCI modems

Does anybody have a pci modem working ?
Note that I am not talking about winmodems (some of which are of ISA
variety)

In particular one computer shop I live near with has only one kind of
(usual) ISA modem which has a chipset I don't particularly trust(Davicom?)
All others are pci modems (and yes I saw the connector) and he tells he
had a hard time getting ISA modems.

I would very much appreciate a list (like what modem you have, what
hardware it works with, operating system). I will put a webpage,
so people can reference it in the future..

I tried looking thru docs and howtos, but couldn't find anything. People
on irc haven't heard about them either.

Saying it again: I know winmodems don't work.
And btw, not all winmodems work in Windows on early K6 - weak fpu units
so some modems have to be the real ones.

thanks to everybody.
