As they are asking for our help, lets sit down and take a nice close look
at the current Linux interface and see if we are willing too chisel it
into stone, if so let it be the UDI API spec. This would make us happy,
all UDI drivers are, by definition, native linux drivers and everyone else
wins as they have all these nice pre-written drivers to use, all they need
to do is code the UDI interface layer.
