sorry for all the caused questions:
it was my fault:
I had applied "linux-2.1.1xx.diff", but forgot to apply
"nfsd-2.1.121-3.patch", thats what caused all my troubles.

Most things work as expected now, except
- "showmount -e" gives me an empty list ...
- "showmount -a" shows a host/dir twice, where the only
difference is a capitol letter starting
the hostname
