I couldn't get Real Audio to work under kernel 2.1.120, any connection?
My sound card works very well with wavplay. The sound program of X
won't even load.

You need to work a bit more with Winblows 95/98/NT to find out that
it is very common in the "Evil Empire"
Joke aside, I find less broken stuff, despite some severe problems,
than in Winblows. I would agree with you up to a point, that yes, there
should be a way out for the rest of us who aren't willing to use
that lame stuff as you call it.
