Don't worry, I'll never implement that extent of functionality. Rather,
what I can implement is simple mapping of logical names to existing
devices, and nothing more. I mostly use logical names for ease of
programming in DCL. I have with 3 other guys written a multiuser game on
VAX/VMS that depends on TMPMBX privilege and heavy use of logicial names,
along with VT220 compliant terminals.

I quite like the idea of doing LinuxVMS only because it's a good challenge
to see if I'll succeed or fail.
