I suspect it depends on which driver you use; I have a dual PPro 180 with
2.0.35, a SCSI CD-ROM, several SCSI disks, and no such problems!

My controller is an AHA 2940UW which shipped with the Micron.

Correct me if I'm wrong on this one, of course!!
