First of all, I'm sorry if this is off topic, but I think might be a
kernel issue.

I'm experiencing some strange problems with both a Kingston and an IBM
token ring adaptor (both are ISA adaptors with 16K shared mem.). When
the ibmtr.o module is loaded I get this error on the console
approximately every 5 seconds: "Unrecoverable error: 0011".
I can see the tr0 adaptor with ifconfig, but I cannot configure it in
any way. This happens with both adaptors. I then tested the adaptors on
a Win95 box using the 'IBM Token Ring (all types)' driver, and both
cards performed flawlessly. I then tried compiling a 2.1.110 kernel that
I had lying around (yes I know, it's old), and that one reboots my
machine when I load the module.

Any clues?
