I have an K6-2 266 MHz on mainboard SiS M570, just upgraded from a
Cyrix 686
my linux (redhat distribution 4.2) does not boot anymore
I tried to use redhat installation disk
I tried also to install slakware
In all cases, the sistem hang-up, last message printed was:

Checking 'hlt' instruction

is the processor, BIOS settings or linux kernel?
