Joliet adds dots at end of file name

Today I burned some CD's. When I looked at them I saw every file name that
contained no dot before ending with a dot ( 'README' -> 'README.' ). I
tried the same CD in an WinNT machine and there the names were right.
My kernel (2.0.34) said it'a ISO9660 CD with Microsoft Joliet Level 3
Extension.
Is there a bug in the kernel code ?

Martin
