Because in my very very very first draft at this printout I was lazy
and just put it there because the printout was/is in init/main.c.

So beat me, it's my fault... ;-)

[ In fact I'm actually very pleased that the idea of providing a
generic hook for reporting unofficial extensions to the official
kernel seems to have taken a solid hold in the Linux community. So at
least once I had some influence on someone... ;-) ]
