[2.1.118] Seems faster: IDE,PPRo 166,SB16(modules),glibc2.0,dhcpcd1.3.6,egcs

The bootup, at least, seemed to go faster than normal. Perhaps the asm
changes actually speed things up? I'm using egcs-2.92.00 19980724 (gcc2
ss-980609 experimental)
