Developer, Testers, Lurkers,
I am currently using 2.1.117 & devfs, and I have not tested this on a
vanilla kernel.
OK I am having extreme wierdness with my floppy drives.

Note the /proc/mounts does _not_ reflect the floppy as being mounted.
I copy some files over, then umount:
[root@firewall /mnt/tmp]# ls -al

I have not built a kernel without devfs, but I will soon, and I will
see what I find. Please forgive me if this is something simple.
