On my AS200 (with standard MSS sound card) .115, .116, .117 all compile fine.

.115 runs fine, with sound built in OR modular
.116 hangs during boot during sound initialization with sound built
OR hangs when called if modular
.117 hangs during boot during sound initialization with sound built
OR hangs when called if modular

I had tried .116pre1 and .116pre2, and they failed with sound as well. So the change occurred between .115 and .116pre1
