Linux boot speedup

Ok, my tinkering with the cache got some results.
On my machine I got a speedup from 49 seconds
down to 38 to boot into X.

The procedure does not involve modifying the kernel.
The effect is achived by preloading files that are
going to be accessed during the boot. (this works
especially well for ldconfig) Look in the README
file for more details.
