This is why it absolutely baffles me when the French get
upset with us Americans for visiting their country and
expecting them to talk to us in English. Surely it must
be a relief to them that we decline to butc^H^H^H^Hspeak
their language in addition to English. Can't you Brits
straighten them out, somehow?
