Hint 2.1.11x isnt defined to be stable ;)

What else do you get with the aha152x panic message. It should have dumped
you a of all a message

aha152x: some reason here

That reason is the essential bit

The ISA drivers for the eexpress arent stable on faster machines thats
why its experimental. Nobody with such cards seems to be keen to fix it
either.
