> Ah thats why - msp3400 uses OSS
Hmm, regarding msp3400 and sound ->
danielle# lsmod
Module Size Used by
msp3400 7812 1 (autoclean)
tuner 1696 1 (autoclean)
bttv 25640 1 (autoclean)
i2c 3284 3 (autoclean) [msp3400 tuner bttv]
videodev 2288 2 (autoclean) [bttv]
awe_wave 43776 0
sb 22824 0
uart401 5648 0 [sb]
sound 56456 0 [msp3400 awe_wave sb uart401]
^^^
soundlow 240 0 [sound]
soundcore 1840 8 [sb sound]
when watching TV I have to use modprobe without option 'k' or sound will
vanish after two `rmmod -a`. Is there a solution to this problem !?
Hardware is AWE32 and Hauppauge Win/TV PCI.
Kernel is 2.1.117.
> Ok I need to figure how to make that behave nicely
