Hello,

I have used a binary search strategy to find the first kernel that
didn't boot on my smp machine and the result is:

2.1.109 boots, 2.1.110 stops booting on my smp machine.

The buslogic host adapter tries to detect the scsi devices and
permanently gets timeouts. If someone is interested I can provide the
output of 'BusLogic=Debug' for both kernel versions.

The debugging output from the BusLogic driver is unlikely to be particularly
helpful. Most likely the problem is with the functioning of the newer I/O APIC
code on your system.

Leonard
