First of all sorry that I've posted the first message as html message and so
probably numerous people couldn't read it correctly, so I repost it again.
Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause to you.
There seems to be a problem with screenblanking and an ega graphics adapter
in kernel 2.1.116. Screenblanking results in a console freeze of the machine
(telnet connection etc... will still work). Everything worked fine with
2.1.101 (sorry I have used no version between 2.1.101 and 2.1.116). I hope
that anyone could have a solution to that problem...
