Like using GS as the Graphical Segment for a video
linear framebuffer ?

Variable size protected memory, with MMIO registers,
and traps to emulate in software the accelerated boards -
dual head using FS also... or reserve it for sound.

With (real) video arriving, those two boards will need
quite a lot of memory (buffering hardware MPEG) - so the
OS could support 3*4Gbytes = 12 Gbytes (commercial numbers!).

Just a probably dummy idea,
Etienne.
