More bad news is that solved bugs have not been removed
from he list.

More bad news is that many have a very vague description
where obviously detailed information exists.
Nobody will start working on a problem like that.

(For example, if the description is

fchmod bug
Fchmod doesnt work on a bound unix domain socket as it does in
BSD

then clearly someone does something specific, expects something,
gets something else. Who this person was, what precisely his problem is,
in what way Linux behaviour differs from BSD, you do not mention.
If this is a list to remind yourself what you still have to do,
that is OK. If you advertize this list as a list with problems
other people should work on, you should provide more details,
or pointers to linux-kernel posts or the like.)
