I'm getting those messages, too, from time to time. In the same
manner, they happen while shutdown is running, syslogd is already
killed so nothing in logs.

But, question is, would that "entry" numbers be useful at all?

Maybe we should put some more elaborate report in there, with 30sec
pause after that, so people can write down messages, by hand?
