The following does not appear to be possible to implement
entirely in user space:

1. Providing a bulletproof mechanism to allow untrusted
processes to access advanced graphics functions without a
task switch to a trusted server process.

All else appears to be possible, however difficult, or
easy, to coordinate, and implement, in user space.

Is the functionality and performance of that kind of a
mechanism required? Some will say yes, some will say no.
