Keyboard Reset Problems.

Howdy,

One of the problems I had with the 2.0.xx kernels wsa that the keyboard
would sometimes 'lock' if I used my switch box. (I have a 5 computer
switch box so that I can have only 1 monitor & keyboard. Only 2 systems
need mice, so I just use 2 mice).

In any event, I have been fine from 2.1.9? till 2.1.111. I don't know
if anything changed, and it certainly it possible that I have flaky
hardware, but now I am getting keyboard lock outs. I notice that it is
much worse if I telnet into the machine while the switch points to
another machine. After that, the box of course stays running (gotta
love Linux!!! =) however, the console is a thing of the past.

I have tried using the keyboard utilities, etc, but to no avail.
Nothing will reset the keyboard once it becomes locked. I used to get
error mesages under 2.0.3x kernels, saying somethign to the effect of:
'....keyboard not present.....' but nothing under 2.1.11x.

Anyone? Tips? Suggestions?

thanks.
