Hi, all. Version 52 of my devfs patch is now available from:
http://www.atnf.csiro.au/~rgooch/linux/kernel-patches.html
The devfs FAQ is also available here.

NOTE: separate from this patch is devfsd, an implementation of a
daemon that uses the new devfsd protocol to support more intelligent
configurable management of device nodes.

NOTE ALSO: you should replace your rc.devfs script with the new one
provided.

This is against 2.1.115. Highlights of this release:

- Replaced dummy .epoch inode with .devfsd character device

- Modified rc.devfs to take acount of above change

- Removed spurious driver warning messages when CONFIG_DEVFS_FS=n

- Implemented devfsd protocol revision 0

Regards,

Richard....
