Speaking of ENOSYS, I saw it under 2.1.110 and 2.1.115 also. I recently
removed a Pentium from my Tyan Tomcat IV but left everything else the same,
including the SMP kernel. Upon bootup I received an endless stream of
non-fatal oops messages and an strace of 'klogd' (the largest offender)
revealed two ENOSYS errors before the oops'.

Here's a few of the 2.1.115 oops':

I'm writing this while running a very stable 2.0.33 SMP on my Tomcat.

2.1.110 and 2.1.115 both die horribly with only one processor.

Here's a system snapshot under 2.1.110 oopsen:

init oops'd at shutdown w/o dying.

If you need an ENOSYS strace, I can reproduce one.

I'd give the 2.1.115 bootup but the oops's fill the buffer too quickly and
I have to kill klogd.
