I am using "vga = extended" in my lilo.conf file. Normally, during
boot-up, the console would switch from 80x24 to 80x43 mode. Now, it simple
stays in 80x24 mode. I thought I was selecting the proper kernel
configuration options. I noticed around 2.1.112 or so, the kernel
configurations got rearranged a bit. One of these was the console options.
