Hi!

I had the same problem here.
Please do the following.
Boot into 2.1.115. , don't start X.
Make a copy of /dev/
(for example 'cp -rRadp /dev /dev.bak
-- just to get sure... ;-)

Copy the attached script into /dev/. and
start it there with ./makettyp

This should fix the problem.
PLEASE CHECK THE PERMISSIONS/GID/UID AFTERWARDS!!
THEY ARE NOT SET BY THE SCRIPT!!!!
