Is that a SCSI device or a SCSI card ? If it's a SCSI device, you just
need to send a SCSI SYNCHRONIZE CACHE command, and then you don't have
any problem. If it's a SCSI host adapter, either it should snoop on
the above, or it should have its own shutdown or synchronize cache command.
Else it's very bad.
