I forgot to mention that I include the support of ppp into the kernel.
At first I tried to get everything in the kernel but since it wouldn't
compile (too big) I took some stuff out to put into modules.
I rechecked several times to make sure my eyes hadn't played tricks
on me and yes the ppp support is in the kernel, as far as the
configuration file is concerned anyway.
