NOATIME/NODIRATIME mount option

Quite a while back, I remember seeing postings about NODIRATIME
patches available for 2.0.x.

I am interested in exploring the usefullness of this mount
option, however I have a few questions:

I see "noatime" as a fs option on the mount manpage, but no such
"nodiratime" option. Are the two options one and the same? Or
are they separate?

Does the 2.0.35 kernel have noatime support built in allready?

Does the 2.0.35 kernel have nodiratime support?

If not, where can I get these patches, and do I need a new
version of mount as well? If so, where can I get it?

Please reply privately to cut down on postings.

Thanks.
