What about this:

kmod: waitpid(348,NULL,0) failed, returning -1.

This is the vger tree (Jul 30 22:21 MET) on CHRP/PPC. No devfs.

Kmod doesn't seem to work at all. Or is this PPC specific? Note that my
modprobe doesn't work, so the kmod kernel message could be related to that.
