I have two big feet, they are working fine with UDMA. Unless the
Quantum Fireball is different than the bigfoot.

hda: QUANTUM FIREBALL SE4.3A, 4104MB w/80kB Cache, CHS=555/240/63, UDMA
hdb: QUANTUM FIREBALL SE8.4A, 8063MB w/80kB Cache, CHS=1024/240/63, UDMA

There have been no problems detecting geometry on this HP Vectra VL7.
BTW, do I have to force an fsck in order to see the problems that are
rumored?
