The first one (hda) works just fine with all the bells and whistles turned
on. The second is total trashed by 'hdparm -d1 /dev/hdc' (time-outs,
corruption, etc ...).
They were bought about 2 months apart from each other, so it's possible
that firmware has something to do with it. But if I recall a personal
message from Mlord, he claimed it had to do with my BX motherboard
(Supermicro P6DBE) and the method it implemented the second IDE channel.
# And folks: please send me more reports about corruptions, even SCSI ones now.
