window scaling in 2.1.xx -- solution

Hi Dave,

I've found the 'solution' aka. workaround for the problem of
low -> high -> higher -> low sawtooth-like transfer problem:

Going from 1500 MTU to 296 MTU generates more packages a second
and gives the window scaling code more info to work on.
(well, even if that's rubbish, it still helps improve transfer
speeds :)
