Odd effect with using SysRq: Show State

Occasionally when I use Alt-SysRQ-t, the console I am currently in has an odd
symptom where when I hit the ENTER key at the shell, the cursor moves to the
next line but does not register to the shell as having hit ENTER. Going to
another VT and outputting ^[c to it clears it up. This so far as only happened
with using Alt-SysRQ-t
