This will mean more breakages as of the 2.1.110 vmalloc()
breakage for non-x86 machines.

Currently people grep the entire source tree to see if
anything is affected by their changes and (often) try
to adapt other architectures too, when needed. Not having
other arch's sources around will cause more breakages and
more trouble.

It might be a good idea for stable kernels though, where
people download one kernel to just compile it on their
production machine. (OTOH, those folks usually get their
kernels on CD anyway)
