Hello all:
I really like 2.1 series, it is fast, efficient and
definitely best operating system for PC.
Thank you very much for your work, linux developers.

I want to report a problems I see in recent kernels.
These are related to fb. BTW, I have 486 with
old mach-8 vga card. FB is not configured yet.
In 107 I noticed, as many did, that Shift-PageUp etc
did not worked and attempt to change text mode (using
SVGAtext) gave me garbled screen.
In 108 and 109 on all consoles I see only upper part
of the buffer whatever I do. For example, on the
boot up console I see BIOS boot up message always.
I hit return, screen blinks and shows same message
again. It looks like scrolling up is in effect always!
In X it is a bit better, but still applications I tried
have problems. For example, in pico cursor is always in
lower left corner and I was not able to move it.

106 works fine for me.

Regards,
Ildar
