Look, here's the requirements for a stable SCSI configuration.
1) *BLACK* goat.
2) *BLACK* candles.
3) Leatherman or similar.
Note #3. A standard knife won't work, unless it is the kind that
inspires fear in all that see it. Say, a sword.
