v2.1.109 memory fragmentation

Hmm, yes, v2.1.109 does seems to be a lot better wrt the swapping
behaviour on this 16MB P75 machine.

Unfortunately the console device seems to be a bit broken - using a ATI
VideoExpress card on this, doesn't offer anything over 80 columns, but
does work fine with >50 rows. This is in contrast with my home 486 machine
which does 132 columns @ 43 rows, yet doesn't do more than 43 rows.

Why is this different? Anyone care to enlighten me?
