All,

We are having problem with our new Mega+ web server;

Asus PL97 ( on-board Fast/Wide SCSI ) , motherboard with Pentium II 300Mhz.
256Mbyte memory.
33Gbyte disks, 3 IDE drives, one SCSI drive ( hda/hdb/hdc/sda)

System is booted off SCSI drive, Linux 2.0.34 ( same problem with 2.0.30 ).

Jul 15 15:22:16 www kernel: EXT2-fs error (device 03:01): ext2_write_inode:
unable to read inode block - inode=2, block=38

Second time this has happened.

Although it looks like a hardware failure, is there something else lurking
here?

Thanks for the help.

Regards,
Hans E.
