[OFFTOPIC/sort of] "interesting" hardware find :)

got an interesting board the other day.... this is the first chance i've
had to really look at what it is i traded a ratshack breadboard for :)

consensys powerports - 8 port serial, and 8 more ports on another little
strap-on expansion board. board date says 1988.

now for the perverse part. :)

the main board has a natsemi 32016 cpu and natsemi 32201/2 peripherals.
and four motorola DUARTS. the expansion board has 4 more. :)

obviously, we probably don't have drivers for this thing in-kernel... =)
a *really* old FAQ on the web (grand total of *six* altavista hits for
"consensys powerports"!!!!) says that ENIX claims to have supproted this
board, and someone once verified that it works in MicroPort unix.

Does ANYONE have a driver disk for this thing in their junk closet
somewhere? :) So some industrious person can see about driving it??? :)
(me, obviously... :) )

heh heh heh.... i bet this serial card could run linux... silly thing
appears to have most of the necessary gadgets.... interrupt controller and
etc, even... no MMu, though. oh well. :) and ram, obviously. :)

maybe i should take a picture of this thing and put it on the web
somewhere :)

thanks for any help in advance,
