Yes, they are there. But the up-to-date address is www.llp.fu-berlin.de. If I
accidentally got this wrong, there are links to it from various meta-Linux
sites (linux.org, etc.) -- search for "GPIB" or "LLP" (Linux Lab Project).

There are a lot of people (including myself) who use Linux routinely in the lab.
