By that argument this is a topic for every conceivable Linux forum and we'd
all better get busy spreading the flamewar everywhere we possibly can.

The only thing being accomplished by this is (1) the flamers get to run
free, (2) the intransigent KDE and GTK types who are trying to avoid
solutions are making themselves and the entire free softwaere movement look
bad in public, and (3) actual free software work is being disrupted because
the flamewar is so important to every single Linux list.
