Yes. But not fully. We are utilizing the documentation that is now readily
available to us, and the contacts with the Adaptec people concerning any
problems, etc. that we might run in to. However, we are not yet taking
advantage of the CHIM based code for development purposes. The end goal is
to re-write the driver to use this CHIM code, which includes the official
Adaptec sequencer and all of the library routines to isolate the kernel from
the actual hardware interface. However, before this code can be used,
Adaptec has to decide that they will at least allow the linux driver to use
this code under the GPL.
