where can I find framebuffer utils??

After looking in the address indicated in the Doumentation I
could not find anything...., I searched in debian FTP site, and find a
fbset package, but it doesn't compile and complains about missing
prototypes and functions. Anyone with a usable fbset (for a x86 using the
pre-2.1.109 kernel) ?
