RH 5.1 for i386 comes with both and uses gcc-2.7 for gcc and egcs for g++
(by default).

gcc version egcs-2.90.27 980315 (egcs-1.0.2 release)
[fubar@solo fubar]$ gcc -v

[fubar@solo fubar]$ cat /etc/redhat-release
