2.1.107 doesn't reboot

After switching to 2.1.107 every time I enter init 6 the system doesn't
reboot anymore. The last message on the screen is "disabling symmetric
IO code" and I need to press the reset button. I haven't tested init 0
yet.
APM is enabled.

Any ideas ?
