Kernel 2.0.30 and 2.0.34, with correct driver and 3com 0.42 driver, with
TCP/IP and various # of combinations
Motherboard Asus 2P97L with 128Mbyte memory, Pentium II 300Mhz.
network adapters ( not at the same time ), 3x 3com509(N), 1x 3com905B TX,
Ne2000 compatible
+ approx. 30 hours of work ( till now ).
Problem:
No network access, ifconfig OK, ping gives TX packets but no RX packets.
We had to scrap the motherboard and purchase a TX97 board.
Anyone wants a 2P97L motherboard?
