In ASCII this reads "DE43", this looks suspisciously like the problems
of asm constraints in asm-i386/string.h with recent compilers.
But I thought they were fixed...

Which compiler are you using ? Are you using the de4x5 driver ?
And more details if you can.

At the very least, you could look up this address in System.map !
